Hi…I’m Richard Burr, the new owner of Manawatu KiwiSpan in Palmerston North, and this is where you will find me when I’m in the office at 20A Jasper Place.  My area extends from Bulls in the north, to the Horowhenua area in the south – from the coast to the Tararua and Ruahine ranges.

I’ve had a varied background - working in the science and research field prior to running my own building business for the last 10 years.  Having worked in the building industry for a number of years I’ve witnessed the huge change in regulatory and compliance requirements that have taken place.  I can help you all the way – from design to completed building, building permits to code of compliance.

In the past I’ve served my time on School Board of Trustees and Cubs & Scouts as a leader.  I still like heading for the hills or a bit of water when I can to satisfy those hunt-fish-dive urges.  That is when I’m not instructing at one of my Taekwon-Do clubs, competing or managing our top ranked teams competing at the World Championships.  One day the motorbike will come out of retirement too!
